Debbie Britt | Executive Director
A results-oriented business strategist, Ms. Britt has more than 30 years of corporate business experience and a proven record of moving businesses forward. Named as Executive Director for Fayette Senior Services, Inc. (FSS) in November, 2007, she is responsible for all aspects of business operations, including regulatory compliance, resource development, and government relations. She has been instrumental in transforming the organization from a small, social service non-profit to a dynamic and well-respected aging service provider.
From 2003-2007, Ms. Britt was owner/president of BrittIdeas, a marketing consultancy specializing in strategic planning and business development. During this time she also served on the FSS board of directors. After attending the Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University, Ms. Britt enjoyed a successful career in advertising and public relations with McCann-Erickson Worldwide. The majority of her career was with Porex Corporation (WebMD Health Corp.), where she held the position of Vice President, Corporate Communications and Corporate Services. Reporting directly the Chief Executive Officer, she managed a $1.5 million annual budget and was a key strategist behind the company’s worldwide business development program.
Nancy Meaders, Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Meaders joined Fayette Senior Services in 2000 as a certified Information & Assistance (I&A) Specialist. She was later promoted to the position of Budget Officer and in 2008 became the organization’s first Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Meaders manages the organization’s operational budget, financial planning, analysis, reporting, forecasting, and record-keeping. She also manages all aspects of financial reporting to government agencies, senior management and the board of directors.
Ms. Meaders has more than 30 years of Federal government finance experience. She formerly held the position of Chief of Resource Management, U.S. Army Forces Command, Directorate of Intelligence, J2. While serving in this prominent role, she was responsible for planning, budgeting, and executing the spending authority for Directorate. During her career she has also held management positions that include Budget Analyst and Intelligence Specialist. She attended Clayton State College School of Business. |
