Chef Donnie Wuerl
He prefers a Braves baseball cap over a chef’s hat, but make no mistake, Chef Donald “Donnie” Wuerl is the real deal in the kitchen. While he has an unpretentious manner, Chef Donnie comes to Fayette Senior Services with an impressive professional background.
Prior to joining Fayette Senior Services, Chef Donnie held the position of Assistant Banquet Chef at The Mansion on Peachtree - A Rosewood Hotel and Residence in Buckhead. A graduate of the International Culinary Academy, Donnie started his culinary career at the Ritz Carlton South Beach in Miami, FL. From there he went on to serve in Executive Chef positions in Nantucket, MA and in Colorado.
As our Executive Chef and Food Service Manager, Donnie brings a new dimension to the Ultimate Café team as he works alongside our talented Sous Chef, Pedro Cruz. “I’m really excited to be here,” says Donnie. “I’m particularly enjoying getting to know the members - knowing who I’m cooking for is what makes my job so rewarding.” |
